Raintree Swim and Racquet Club is the proud home to the Raintree Rapids, a Division 2 team of the Greater Richmond Aquatic League (GRAL). The swim team is open to all yearly and summer swim members ages 18 and younger. Swim team is a great way to see your friends, make new ones, and have some summer fun! Our coaches will help teach your swimmer the four basic strokes as well as starts and turns and how to be a good teammate. 

We accept children ages 4-18. The only requirement for making the team is your swimmer must be able to do a full 25-yard lap down the pool unassisted. They can swim underwater, doggy paddle, float, or do whatever they need to get across WITHOUT grabbing the wall or lane line or touching the bottom. If you are not sure if your swimmer is ready, please email Raintree Rapids to schedule an evaluation.

Our team relies solely on parental involvement to make swim meets and the season run smoothly. We ask each family to fill one volunteer position for one-half of every meet in which their child swims.
